How to Connect OptinMonster with Emma

OptinMonster offers seamless integration with Emma email marketing service. Connecting OptinMonster to your Emma email list is very easy.

In this article, you’ll learn how to connect Emma with OptinMonster.

Before You Start

Here are some things to know before you begin:

  • Our native Emma integration requires a Plus or higher subscription.
  • Alternatively, you can use our Custom HTML integration to add a custom Emma form to your OptinMonster campaign. This is available with all plans.
  •  As a best practice, we recommend you also connect your campaigns to Monster Leads as a backup.

Connect Emma

When you create a campaign in OptinMonster that you intend to collect leads with you’ll want to integrate with one or more services to send those leads to.

To send leads to Emma, follow these steps:

  1. Navigate to the Integrations tab in the campaign builder and click Add New Integration.
  2. Search for and select Emma from the dropdown field.

  3. Log into your Emma account to obtain your API credentials. To do this:
    1. In your Emma account, navigate to the Account page.

    2. From the account page select the API Key tab.

    3. From this screen, you can copy the API credentials needed to connect with OptinMonster.

  4. Returning to the OptinMonster campaign builder, paste the API credentials into their corresponding field.
    Don’t forget to add a unique label for easy identification (internal use only).

  5. Next, select the Connect to Emma button.
  6. Once connected, select the email group you want to add new subscribers to.

  7. (Optional) Now you can configure additional lead options like Don’t Send Confirmation Email? and Assigned Form.

  8. When you’re finished, click Save.

Email Automations

To send emails automatically to new leads you’ll want to configure email automations within your Emma account.
